Biografia: Joseph Capriati, all'anagrafe Giuseppe Capriati (Caserta, 25 luglio 1987), è un produttore discografico e disc jockey italiano. È cresciuto nella città italiana di Caserta. Durante i suoi dieci anni di esperienza ha suonato in giro per il mondo in molti tra i piú importanti eventi di musica elettronica. Inizia la sua carriera come DJ nella sua città natale di Caserta, vicino Napoli, Italia ed inizia con il pseudonimo "Prince J", nel 2006 suonava come dj resident del Disco Seven, in Caserta, in quel periodo ebbe modo di stare in consolle con artisti come Miss Jools del Clandestino di Londra, Renè di Circoloco Dc10 Ibiza, Dino Angioletti dei Pasta Boys e tanti artisti Campani e Casertani. Successivamente utilizzerà il nome con il quale ha avuto successo "Joseph Capriati", Nel dicembre 2007, la sua prima major release, “C’est la Vie”, sull’etichetta Analytic Trail. Un anno dopo suona per la prima volta all’Awakenings per il Capodanno a Rotterdam, al fianco di Analytic Trail etichetta dell’artista ed amico Markantonio. Un'altra figura importante nel viaggio di Capriati è stata Rino Cerrone, con il quale ha collaborato fin dal primo giorno, in particolare sul progetto Neapolitan Gangsta (2006-2010). 2009 è l’anno della prima uscita discografica di Joseph Capriati con l'etichetta underground di Adam Beyer Drumcode Records con due EP, Sidechains/Kontrol Room e Iron Pump/Black Line. Da quel momento, Joseph diventa artista abituale negli eventi Drumcode. Nello stesso anno, esce Login EP sull’etichetta discografica di Chris Liebing CLR. Joseph Capriati pubblica il suo primo album dal titolo Save My Soul nel luglio 2010 con Analytic Trail. Nell’album, Capriati esplora altri generi musicali quali breakbeat, drum & bass e downtempo. Del suo album, Joseph commenta “vi ho incluso tutte le influenze musicali che hanno segnato il mio percorso dal 1998 quando ho iniziato a suonare nei club. In occasione della celebrazione del 15° anniversario della Drumcode Records nel 2011, Joseph remixa la traccia di Adam Beyer A Walking Contradiction quale parte della compilation 15 Years of Drumcode e partecipa a tutti gli eventi del tour europeo. Dopo aver suonato diversi back-to-back set con Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati pubblica un EP in collaborazione con il fondatore della label dal titolo Congenial Endeavor, su Drumcode nel marzo 2012. Durante l’estate 2012 Joseph Capriati diventa resident all’Amnesia ad Ibiza, dove suona per 6 concerti, inclusa la chiusura. Nel 2012 Joseph prende parte ad eventi in numerosi e rinomati festival e club quali Tomorrowland, Awakenings, Time Warp, Fabric (UK) e Berghain (Germania). Agli inizi del 2013, Joseph fa il suo primo tour negli USA esibendosi in numerose città. L’estate lo vede protagonista nei circuiti festival con performance a Awakenings, Kappa Futurfestival, Monegros Festivals, Tomorrowland, Kazantip, Sonus Festival, Mysteryland e molti altri. Ad Ibiza, diventa parte della line-up degli artisti al DC 10 al Circoloco lineup. Nel novembre dello stesso anno, Joseph Capriati pubblica il suo secondo album, Self Portrait, su Drumcode. Descritto come "beautifully melodic dancefloor body of work" da DJ Mag. Assieme all’ album, Joseph Capriati ha pubblicato un documentario dal titolo Autoritratto, le cui riprese sono state effettuate nella sua città natale di Caserta nel febbraio 2013. Il documentario racconta la storia dell’ascesa di Capriati con uno sguardo anche alla sua vita personale, il tutto coronato da uan maratona di 12 ore al disco club Metropolis. Alla fine del 2013, Joseph Capriati viene votato da Resident Advisor’s Top DJs del 2013, aggiudicandosi l'ottava posizione. Joseph Capriati inizia il suo 2014 suonandoal BPM Festival per continuare al Miami Music Week. Dopo aver suonato al debutto del Time Warp in Argentina ed al Mysteryland negli Stati Uniti, Joseph inaugura il suo brand party chiamato 100% JC al City Hall durante il Sonar OFF Week di Barcellona, il 15 giugno, 2016. Ad Ibiza nella stagione 2014 Joseph ritorna al club Amnesia per il terzo anno consecutivo e prende parte al party di Carl Cox Music is Revolution party allo Space ed al Jamie Jones’ Paradise party al DC10. Continuano i suoi play back-to-back con i migliori DJs del circuito, incluso Carl Cox, Danny Tenaglia, Jamie Jones, Beyer, Dave Clarke e Dubfire. In quanto a produzioni Joseph Capriati remixa la traccia Kommen Zusammen del DJ/producer Carl Cox per la compilation Space Ibiza’s 25th Anniversary compilation. Quale parte del fabric mix series, Joseph mixa fabric 80 nel febbraio 2015, includendovi propri brani ma anche una selezione di tracce di Adam Beyer, Joel Mull, e Alan Fitzpatrick. 2015 è l’anno in cui Capriati pubblica diversi remix quali DIBIZA di Danny Tenaglia su Stereo Productions, Fugitives di Pan-Pot su Second State e Slice di Carl Cox e Joey Beltram su Bush Records. Drumcode pubblica una serie di remix dell’album di Joseph Self Portrait proponendo le rielaborazioni di Dubfire, Coyu, Julian Jeweil e Luigi Madonna. Dopo il BPM Festival del 2016, Joseph Capriati annuncia il lancio della sua Label Redimension, la cui prima uscita in collaborazione con Adam Beyer che esce il 20 Giugno, sono due le tracce: Parallels ed External Links. A Marzo del 2017 è uscito il suo secondo Record, 'Prospective Journeys', che ha prodotto insieme a Flavio Folco. Il 15 Marzo 2017, nel club newyorkese Cielo, Joseph ha vissuto un momento culminante per la sua carriera suonando back-to-back con Louie Vega (of Masters At Work) Artista di spiccato rilievo nel panorama internazionale della House Music genere musicale che ha accompagnato Capriati nella sua crescita anche musicale.
